Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 16, 2025

Rekhia ('we,' 'our,' 'us') is a brand and service line operated by Busdigital LLC, a Limited Liability Company registered in New Mexico, USA (1209 Mountain Road Pl NE Ste N, Albuquerque, NM 87110). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, secure, and retain personal data in connection with: (a) our public website (the 'Site'); (b) sales and customer-support communications; and (c) delivery of our professional services (the 'Services'). For the data collected under this policy, we act as the 'data controller'. A separate section below explains our role as a 'data processor' when we handle data on behalf of our clients. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Site or provide personal data.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to operate the Site, respond to inquiries, and provide Services.

  • You provide: contact details and messages you submit (e.g., name, email, company, project information), and business/billing identifiers needed for quotes or invoices.
  • Collected automatically: limited device/usage data (IP address, browser, pages viewed, timestamps) and cookies. Cookies are small text files that enable core functionality and, if you consent, basic analytics. You can manage cookies through your browser's settings.
  • From third parties: payment status/metadata from Stripe (e.g., amount, transaction ID; not full card data), delivery metadata from email or chat providers, and publicly available business information to verify leads and prevent fraud.
  • We do not knowingly collect data from children (see Section 8).

2. How We Use Personal Data

Where required by law (e.g., EEA/UK), our processing is based on one or more of: contract (including pre-contract steps), legitimate interests (e.g., responding to your request, site security), consent (for non-essential cookies/analytics), and legal obligation (records retention, tax).

  • Respond to inquiries and schedule conversations.
  • Plan, scope, and deliver the Services you request.
  • Issue quotes, invoices, and reconcile payments.
  • Operate, secure, and improve the Site.
  • Comply with legal, tax, and contractual obligations.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with:

  • Service providers acting on our behalf and under contract (e.g., hosting and infrastructure, email and communication tools, analytics if enabled).
  • All payment transactions are processed through Stripe. Stripe acts as our payment processor and may collect data necessary to complete the transaction. Please review Stripe’s Privacy Policy for details.
  • Professional advisers and authorities when required by law or to protect our rights (e.g., accountants, auditors, legal counsel).
  • Business transfers in the event of merger, acquisition, or corporate reorganization subject to appropriate safeguards.

4. Data Controller and Data Processor Roles

We act as the 'data controller' for the information we collect from you to manage our business relationship (e.g., your contact and billing details).

We may act as a 'data processor' if you provide us with access to personal data controlled by you in order to perform our Services (for example, if we need access to your customer database for a project). In such cases, we will only process the data according to your instructions and our contractual agreement.

5. International Data Transfers

Our business is global, which means your personal data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our company is registered. These countries may have data protection laws that are different from the laws of your country.

When we transfer personal data internationally, we take steps to ensure it is protected. For transfers of data from regions such as the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

6. Data Security & Retention

We apply commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (HTTPS, access controls, least-privilege practices, vendor reviews). No method is 100% secure.

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above and to meet legal/record-keeping duties. When retention ends, we delete or de-identify data.

  • Contact/leads: typically 12–24 months after last interaction.
  • Project and billing records: typically 7 years for legal and tax purposes.
  • Security logs: 90–365 days unless needed longer.

7. Your Rights

To exercise your rights, please email contact@rekhia.com. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. Please note that these rights are not absolute and may be subject to our own legal obligations (for example, we cannot delete billing data that we are required to keep for tax purposes).

  • Access, correct, delete, object/restrict, and port your data.
  • Withdraw consent (where processing relies on consent).
  • File a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

9. Changes & Contact

We may update this Policy from time to time. The 'Last updated' date will reflect the current version; material changes may be highlighted on the Site.
